The Burj Khalifa is 828 meters tall, 160 story tower with 57 elevators.

Urban legend says there is a mosque at 158th floor although no official statement was made. Nevertheless it is talked and written about.

If the one is curios of knowing history of United Arab Emirates visiting the Etihad Museum is a must.

Photographs and motion pictures depict development of the Emirates. Interactive showcases put accent on period 1968 till 1974. Visitors can also see the way of life before union and the Constitution of UAE.

Next of the museum is Union House where the constitution was signed on December 2nd 1971.

The museum building is unusually shaped. White roof is inspired by the shape of constitution and seven pillars represent pens that were used to sign the Constitution.

Seven pillars represents also the seven emirates – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.

Dubai Marina

Residental area accommodates about 46000 people. Modern skycrapers and luxury appartments make Dubai Marina almost a town-like. Very attractive is Jumeirah Beach Walk with numerous bars, hotels and restaurants. There is also open market.

This area hosts Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet city and the private American University.

DIFC represents Dubai’s economic and financial zone. It is one of the largest financial centers in the world and is the leading financial center for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

Twin tower skyscraper is a part of DIFC complex with many hotels, restaurants, caffes, galleries, parks and retail markets and shops.

The Gate Building was first building in Dubai Finacial Center and now is the symbol and landmark for the city’s financial district.

Aqua parks

Interesting fact is that, as well as in shopping malls, people spend a lot of time in water – not in the sea but in hugh aqua parks designed to shift your imagination whether it is swimming, water diving, high jumping, leisure activities or modest splashing.

So, if you are craving for water activities there is Wild Wati water-park, if you wish to spectate dolphins or even swim along there is Atlantis The Palm – Adventure Park. Scuba diving among ruins of Atlantis or „modest“ aquarium with over 65000 species.

Infinity Tower

Infinity tower is one of the tallest „weird“ and twisted buildings in the world. The same team of architects who worked on Burj Khalifa is to blame for 90 degrees twist along the axis of the tower.

This design not only reflects ever changing shape of the desert but also has positive effect on wind stress. Infinity Tower has unique design to stop penetrating sunlight. Primarily it has luxury residential units, parking, and retail.

For two years this was world highest tower with the „twist“.

Infinity Tower and Ocean Heights located in Dubai Marina are unique twisted buildings and among highest residental buildings in the world along with The Marina Torch and Blue Tower skyscraper. These all are landmarks of Dubai.

The Meydan Bridge

We can say that Meydan Bridge is one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. Architectural marvel connecting Meydan hotel with the main road.

The bridge resembles sea wave and royal blue LED illumination makes it prominent landmark. It look amazing and alienish by night. Photographers find this bridge a challenge because of unusual shape and lively, irregular play of light.

Dubai Fountain

Not far from Burj Khalifa tower and Dubai Mall there is the most complex and the biggest fountain in the world.

The fountain itself is in artificial lake Burj Khalifa at the center of Dubai Downtown and it is one of a kind choreographed fountain system. Water shoots up to impressive heights sometimes up to 150 meters.

Dubai Fountain is illuminated with 6600 super-lights and 25 color projectors. More than 80000 liters of water is sprayed up in the air at any given moment. Accompanied with music Dubai fountain has choreography like no other fountain in the world.
